Senior Key Account Manager – Global Travel Retail

Description Travel Retail is a fast-growing channel with business mainly done in Airports and Downtown Duty Free stores. The Key Account Manager will the face of P&G for Global Travel Retail customers and will be responsible to design business plans to deliver the SK-II brand volume. Key Responsibilities: Account management 1. Lead joint business planning with customers and regular business review and strategy meetings 2. Build strong relationships with customers to negotiate best space & location, promotion support, develop right assortment, shelving, pricing, and merchandising strategies unique to Travel Retail channel 3. Responsible for developing superior in-store presence of the SK-II brand in defined geographic territories with our Travel Retail customers 4. Follow up on daily management and implementation of defined activities with buyers/assistant contacts 5. Daily management of all outlets including communication and implementation of strategy and centrally agreed plans 6. Build and maintain strong collaborative key customer relationships to deliver preferred supplier status 7. Effective supply chain management to deliver efficient assortment and 99.5% availability at Point of Sales 8. Assure executional excellence of in-store sales fundamentals/business drivers 9. Lead joint business planning of global accounts– new door opportunities, door closure negotiation, space & location, global BOP management, promotion strategy & support. Markets: Hongkong, Macau, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, Cambodia, Vietnam, Myanmar, Okinawa, North America, Mid-Pacific, Paris, Italy, Hainan, UK Financial objectives 1. Deliver Top Line, Value Contribution (Sell Through, NOS Ix & LOR/MSE Ix) & Forecast Planning 2. Responsible for all purchase orders creation to ensure full compliance of P&G PO processes 3. Implement new Trade Terms with Global customers together with MFT support 4. Be the Steward of our markets both internally and externally to comply with Stewardship guidelines Organization 1. Lead, develop and coach Field Sales team to achieve targets 2. Coordinate with consultant supervisor for recruitment and development of permanent and temporary Field Sales staff 3. Provide information and education for Field Sales team and leveraging organizational resources 4. Work closely with the MFT team and share markets insights to develop fit-for-use Toolkits 5. Take on projects to further contribute to building the overall Travel Retail organization
Qualifications: 1. Strong global communication skills in English, both in verbal and written, sufficient for sophisticated strategical selling and negotiation. Fluent in Mandarin Chinese verbally is a big plus 2. Knowledge & Experience in Travel Retail Industry and its operations 3. Knowledge & Experience in Beauty/Skincare/Prestige brands 4. Knowledge & Experience in Sales, Retail Operation and Key Account Management 5. Flexibility in travel – require travel 20-30 % of the time, including 3-4 international travel within Asia 6. Strong Leadership Skills, you will lead in the envisioning of the future of your business, to engage / enable / energize the multifunctional team and execute the plans with excellence. 7. Strong Collaboration and Analytical skills. 8. Experience in autonomous customer meetings, sales forecasting and initiative planning 9. Strong communication skills with a customer service orientation / attitude 10. Strong solution finding skills and “can do” attitude. Willingness to accept and lead change in a dynamic environment 11. People management experience
