Business Intelligence Application Manager
Description
• Lead the Business Intelligence (BI) product development, accountable for application management, technical design and delivery quality.
• Lead the BI data architecture, data flow and semantics model design. Lead the drumbeat to ensure compliance to data architecture.
• Oversee and manage BI platform DevOps standards, development guidelines, data standards, fully accountable of BI & Analytics Service design and implementation.
• Lead ad-hoc analytics platform setup and daily operation. Drive data culture through data & analytics capability building in the company.
• Improve and upgrade BI applications in terms of architecture and features, investigate technical issue and performance tuning, ensure stability and robust of BI platform.
• Work with program leadership and subcontractors to enhance and integrate the system.
• Oversee the production of accurate and timely reports on the project as requested and keep senior program management informed of key issues.
Qualifications: • Advanced degree in information technology, business, management; bachelor’s degree and an additional 3 years of work experience will be considered in lieu of an advanced degree
• Savvy on learning, sensitive on new technology and passionate on bridge technology to real business scenarios
• 1-2 years of experience managing BI and data application development, demonstrates skill in data modeling and analytics technologies. Experiences in Power BI, DAX, Azure Analysis Services or Tableau is highly preferable.
• Ability to work with cooperating partners in implementing large-scale programs
• Excellent interpersonal skills; proven diplomatic and public relations skill
• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing
• Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity
• Fluency in written and spoken English required; proficiency in a foreign language of Global Fund-supported countries preferred
