Description

Our Global Product Stewardship organization in Cincinnati has an immediate opening for a Toxicologist in both our Health Care Safety group and in our Fabric and Home Care group. We are seeking a motivated individual to become a valued member of the safety group within one of these businesses. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that marketed consumer products and upstream technologies are safe for use by consumers. This work will occur in a challenging and globally diverse business environment. You will provide technical mentorship and assurance of safety to global R&D project teams for complex and innovative technologies through all stages of product development. You will develop reciprocal working relationships with global safety authorities and with related functions in the areas of Regulatory Affairs, Analytical Sciences, and External Relations. You will design and summarize data from in vitro and clinical safety studies and utilize those data to ensure the consumer safety of globally marketed products.


Qualifications

Requirements (skills / experiences) for the role:


A Master's or Bachelor's in Toxicology or Pharmacology. We prefer a degree in those disciplines although other life science degrees may be considered. Good communication skills (both oral and written). We would love to have someone with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a global team environment. A motivated learner and strong critical thinker. You will need to be able to operate independently, highly ambitious, be proficient in database and literature mining.
