Innovation Designer - Feminine Care

You will lead with originality and curiosity. Feminine Care and the Whisper brand is looking for an Innovation Designer to bring to life new product propositions and drive innovation through outstanding design! Your team This role will report to the Global Always Innovation Design Director and work with a multi-functional team of researchers, material scientists, engineers, marketing partners, and designers in other markets. What success looks like You are at the heart of new product development and design strategy for the Whisper brand. Your strong design skills will translate consumer insights into product elements, soft goods' prototyping, print and pattern creation and sometimes packaging. The ability to learn new manufacturing processes and partner with engineers to best execute product design will be paramount to your success. Responsibilities 1. Conceptualise and develop products with a keen understanding of consumer insight, market trends, and business strategy 2. Lead the design process on initiatives including problem definition, creative development, and design implementation 3. Execute 3D-prototyping and creation of research stimulus 4. Communicate design thinking to non-design partners
Qualifications: Role requirements 1. Bachelor’s degree or above. Major in Industrial Design, Fashion Design, or similar field 2. 5+ years of work experience with a multi-national company preferred 3. Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills with manufacturing/engineering and marketing partners 4. A portfolio that demonstrates strong Design Mastery in industrial design, soft goods' design, or textile/pattern design. Your portfolio will be assessed on creative excellence, storytelling, problem-solving and technical mastery. Your work should also demonstrate examples of solving design problems by connecting consumer insights, technology, socio-cultural and market trends. 5. A good base knowledge in key manufacturing processes (releasing files according to tech specs, print and pattern making, material development, etc) 6. Outstanding project management skills, outstanding time management skills, accountable from concept to final design delivery. 7. Flexible and agile approach in an environment of constant change Software knowledge 1. Excellent Adobe Illustrator skills 2. Fluency in the latest graphics and business programs: Adobe CS (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat) and Microsoft (Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.). 3.
